Go See, “The Shack”

I love movies and books. One of my favorite books is The Shack by William Paul Young. Now one of my favorite movies is The Shack. I saw it on opening night and it was awesome!
The thing that makes this story so good is that I see my God in it. My God loves me and wants the best for me. I am the one who stands in the way of where I need to be. God is my greatest cheerleader and encourager.
Even when life is tough. When evil is all that I seem to see and experience, Papa God is there. You see He can make a way when there seems to be no way. He can heal my hurts when I feel broken. And He can help me find love when all seems lost and hopeless.
God is light and joy. He is my best friend and savior. The wonder of the trinity, Jesus, God and the Holy Spirit. All separate and yet all one at the same time. Amazing.
It really makes me mad at the ratings the critics has given this movie. I took a friend who would not read the book to see the movie. Her summary is that The Shack is the best movie that she has ever seen.
Take the time and go see it. Take a hurting and lost friend with you so that you both can be blessed.
Papa will meet you there with a smile and a good meal. Love will surround you and your hurts will be healed.
