Live This Life

For you died to this life, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God. NLT
How can one die to this life and still live? There are many mysteries of God. This is one of them. This world craves power, money, sex, people, things-everything except God. If you love and live as this world works, then you must ask yourself, do I know God? Am I living as He commands me to live?
I am not against material things or money. It is all God’s for use to use for His will. He gives to us and we must be faithful and responsible with it. I have a friend who just lost her Mom. Both she and her sister will be getting a good amount of money. My friend is worried about how her sister will use the money. I reminded her that we are only responsible for ourselves. We can suggest to others the best way to manage the thing that God gives us, but we can only control and are responsible for what we do. We are not our brother’s or sister’s keeper.
What is the most important thing to you? If your answer is not God, then you need to ask God to change your heart and mind. The only good things in our lives come from God. The only good things after we leave this life are from God. We must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and surrender our lives to Him in all areas.
I see many Christians who live just like non-Christians around them. When there is no difference in your life and the world. You have a problem. Dear friend, please surrender your entire life, money, family-everything to God today. There is so much more than what we see and have on this earth. Please choose life today!
Don’t lose eternity for a few meaningless things here.

Those who love their life in this world will lose it. Those who care nothing for their life in this world will keep it for eternity. NLT
